Europe is a tree whose roots plunge into the mists of time and its trunk unfolds as a common heritage, to diverge into branches of multiple forms. Each of its leaves is both similar and unique.
Trees for Europe 2019, in its creation, revealed to us our common culture, made of diversities and convergences. What a precious mosaic!
Thus a large number of schools and countries of Europe will be represented on May 9, to signify that our planet must remain as green and beautiful as ever. It is this message that you have chosen to transmit to the younger generations, it is this watchword that youth wants to claim.
And this clamor did not come from above, it was us, populations and schools of Europe, who created the event, by our enthusiasm, which dazzled us, by our convictions which made us adhere to this project to preserve and celebrate nature.
More than 200 trees will be planted on May 9th, that's little, given the threat of global warming, but it's big in the energy deployed to realize the symbol.
On May 9, the message will be clear: we, pupils and teachers of European schools, wish to live in a world that is alive and welcoming, to transmit it to future generations.
So….good plantation….
